Keagan Lafferty is a 19 year old singer-songwriter from Colorado, whose passion for music began when she was just 6 years old. Taylor Swift was Keagan’s initial inspiration for songwriting and she finds inspiration in a variety of artists including Gracie Abrams, Briston Maroney, Lorde, Jack Antonoff, Bon Iver, Zach Bryan, Finneas, Aaron Dessner, Phoebe Bridgers, and many more. Keagan expresses her musical passion through her songwriting, which she shares through live performance both solo and with her Burlington, Vermont-based band, Cows on the Moon. She is also expanding her musical knowledge by learning to work with audio music production; her songs are self-recorded and produced. She is pursuing a degree in Music Technology and Music Business at the University of Vermont. Keagan's musical style consists of an original blend of folk and Americana, with a hint of pop and alternative indie. Through her music, Keagan aims to create a world where imagination meets reality, and emotions can be translated into a melodic blend of poetry and instrumental sounds. She hopes to inspire those around her through her songwriting and performance.
